At re:new, we are scaling material reuse in the built environment and accelerating the shift from virgin material extraction to urban mining.
We envision a construction industry where material reuse is standard practice, and existing buildings are recognised as material banks - rich in history, craftsmanship, and possibility. Materials are valued for their heritage, economic worth, embodied carbon, and future potential. By seeing the full value of what already exists, we can create a built environment that is less wasteful, more respectful, and more circular.
How we achieve it

We do this by building open knowledge-sharing platforms, structuring repeatable workflows, connecting reuse services, and developing future incentive models that make material reuse actionable, accessible, and scalable across the construction industry.
